Cells are selected for the module based on their voltage. If the measured value falls within the desired range (with an accuracy of thousands), they go to the same module. It can be said that the cells in the module are with identical voltages, but no test reports are available. MAX 0.002V between cells in module.

B- -> GND and B+ ->BAT+ are directly connected and can be used to power up bms. Note that the GND and BAT+ traces are not suited for high current.

The problem is that there will be delay between bms switching and if at switching time load exceeds single bms current, one bms might be damaged. In this configuration communication must be isolated to prevent ground loops. Another point to consider is that two batteries might get disbalanced. Overall, this configuration might work, but it is not good practice or recommended. If you plan to make the batteries, you can make bigger ones and add external contactors to meet your power requirements.

• 12mm width busbar (used in 1x modules) can carry 350A (it’s temperature should not exceed 70°C when this current)
• 20mm width busbar (used in 2x modules) can carry 550A (it’s temperature should not exceed 70°C when this current).

We recommend not to use L+ and C+ because they are directly connected from B+ and the tracks go through the entire BMS, the tracks are not designed to support high current, so we recommend connecting immediately from B+, but if the current there according to Your connection is not high, for example up to ~10A, then I think everything is fine can connect like that.

150A peak is short, BMS won’t last long with such current. In the user manual You can find it. It shows 30A because the single port mode is probably set. If a dual port is set, then the discharge current should be allowed to be higher.

We recommend the safest version, that we have tested. Your idea with isolated psu and adc readings should work, but there are scenarios when the reading might be inaccurate. This heavily depends on your setup: motor inductance, voltage, and quality of temperature readings.

With standard NTC10k you can’t connect as many temperature reading points as with our multipoint sensors.

Excluding the battery itself, theoretically, you will need 2 units of TinyAFE, and 1 unit of TinyAFE Communication Module. Additionally, you will need a current measurement device, a contactor, and its control. It is important to emphasize that TinyAFE does not control the contactor or measure current, so client should take care of this, as currently we do not have a master BMS.
